oh no…
we finally discovered the bakery in town. how ever will we stay away now? i love bakeries. Turkey picked out a butterfly shaped sugar cookie decorated with colourful butterfly icing, and we got one for Bug for after school too. I had to take away with me a filled ham and cheese croissant, a sticky ginormous cinnamon bun with chocolate chunks and pecans on top and almond slices inside, plus a raspberry cream cheese muffin… i left behind enormous peanut butter cup cookies, and mini pumpkin pies, and mini quiche, and fresh loaves of bread, and and and… for next time! i don’t have any pictures, since everything was devoured almost immediately. and they have salt spring island coffee, but the line was too long inside and my hands were already too full to juggle that (thanks especially to one webkinz arabian horse that was apparently too much for someone else to carry after all…)
